Daggerfall
After Daggerfall came out I just had to have it. Its predecessor Arena was a game that made a big impression on me and Daggerfall promised to exceed even that in graphics and freedom. It was very buggy. Like those "early access games" nowadays but worse because you just had to pray the publisher would release a patch disc. And you'd have to obtain it.. I don't think I made alot of progress in the game but I played it and loved it anyway.
